My Scottish heritage comes through the Strachans from Edinburgh and I know that for those of us with any Scottish blood, we are always keen to put on a kilt. In 1999 I performed the first legal Elvis wedding in Australia and I haven’t looked back. It’s still a very popular theme and the wedding guests I meet often say to me that the Elvis wedding is the ‘best’ or the ‘funniest’ they have ever been to. As one woman said to me recently, ‘I’ve been to three weddings this year, but this makes up for all of them.’ |
